Passionate about helping others, Mrs. Shawn Sotolongo possesses a genuine community spirit. Shawn Sotolongo pursues her charitable endeavors through generous donations and work with Hospice, Metropolitan Ministries, and Toys for Tots. Additionally, Shawn Sotolongo has participated in the Relay for Life, the American Cancer Society’s flagship fundraiser. Shawn Sotolongo also leverages her position as the owner of popular ice cream shop Marble Slab Creamery toward helping the community by organizing fundraisers and events for local schools and charities.
Mrs. Shawn Sotolongo has worked as the owner of the Marble Slab Creamery in Land O’ Lakes, Florida since 2004. Possessing a talent for executive management, Shawn Sotolongo oversees marketing, promotions, the hiring and training of new employees, catering operations, and budgeting and projections. Shawn Sotolongo’s tireless efforts in leading the store to success through exceptional management and customer service resulted in the store earning the “training store designation,” a distinction that only a couple other stores in Florida have earned.
Mrs. Shawn Sotolongo, a former cheerleader for the Miami Dolphins and the Tampa Bay Storm, enjoys an active, healthy lifestyle. She enjoys swimming, dancing, and working out. She is also an avid reader and cinephile. Shawn Sotolongo also enjoys spending time with her family and attending church.
